In The News: Mila Kunis for Gemfields

Gemfields, the world’s leading supplier of responsibly sourced coloured gemstones, has unveiled its second advertising campaign, Beauty by nature, featuring global ambassador Mila Kunis who is captured in these shots by Peter Lindbergh.

I love Gemfields as a brand and think their imagery and campaigns are always beautifully executed.

This video takes a look behind the scenes of the shoot with Kunis in Zambia, which I visited recently. Travel posts coming up soon...

Trending: The Cuffed Jean

I first noticed the wide turn up jean on the catwalk at Topshop UNIQUE back in September - a trend I wasn't sure would take off at first.

Topshop UNIQUE SS14

My mind was changed when I found this particular pair. MiH jeans do the perfect roll up jean. It's called the Phoebe and is priced at £195 - available in a lighter and a darker wash.

They come with a rough cut turned up hem, which stop them feeling dated.

GAP SS14

GAP have also done a great turn up jean for SS14 with a neater, less baggy fit.

Pearly Queens

I am completely in love with pearls. Always have been, always will.

My designer du jour is Sophie Bille Brahe, who studied at London's RCA, and since set up her eponymous brand.

A combination of modern designs using traditional methods, her Croissant de Perle has become a cult piece among the fashion press.

Sophie is inspired by reflections in precious stones and gold with a strong nod to her Scandinavian heritage - the minimalism that I love.

And how amazing is this Africa necklace...

I'm also loving how Peony Lim uses pearls to decorate her hair styles.

Petit Bateau goes East

Petit Bateau 'comes of age' with the opening of their first ever adult fashion pop up for men and women in London's Shoreditch.

From 14th February, East Londoners will be able to shop the new Petit Bateau spring summer 14 collection on their doorstep, at the pop up on 64 Charlotte Road.

To celebrate their 120th anniversary, last year Petit Bateau collaborated with Parisian music and fashion house Maison Kitsuné. Gildas and Masaya came on board to take the adult clothing collections in a new direction - bringing their fresh, 'pop', chic take on everyday clothing.

The pop up shop has been co-designed with London landscape practice, Wayward Plants, also known for Southwark's Urban Physic Garden, who have created a jungle themed space that is lit overnight to encourage photosynthesis. Visitors to the pop up will be invited to 'adopt' a plant when the pop up closes.

The Petit Bateau pop up shop opens on Friday 14th February and will stay open until Thursday 13th March.
