Very pretty Vogue cover.

I love the art direction in this issue. Based on stars, it is very festive and perfect for the party season.

Into the Wilderness.
I saw this Tank editorial at work today and had to post it. I love the darkness of the images but they're still so ethereal. They remind me of images of the exotic dancer accused of spying during World War I - the femme fatale Mata Hari.

Swing while you're winning.
I'm loving everything sixties at the moment! I love this shot of Anna Kuznetsova by Elina Kechicheva and the spread of eras in this Vogue Germany editorial is wonderful, I particularly like the sixties shifts and.footwear. This editorial is going to inspire my wardrobe for Autumn/Winter 2010.

A touch of Henner
In Numéro's #115 edition, an editorial by Miguel Reveriego reminds me of Jean Jacques Henner's portraits of femme fatales in burnt terracotta settings.

Get connected.
It's old news that the fashion press is taking presidence on the web. For me, it is my first go-to for fashion news, images and updates. However, the emergence and power of online magazines is striking and I think this is where the fashion press is headed in the near future. Online shopping websites, such as Net-a-Porter.com and ASOS.com, are producing high-quality, glossy, cutting edge fashion editorials - good enough to rival the printed press in my opinion. Take for example, Net-a-Porter's recent and God created woman spread featuring iconic designers such as Isabel Marant with a deliciously French touch of styling.
This month, it's ASOS's turn to take the limelight with Olivia Palermo, powerfully styled by Zeba Lowe, taking up an impressive 13 pages of their 100-page monthly online magazine (http://www.asos.com/Women/Magazine/Womens-Magazine-Asos/Cat/pgehtml.aspx?cid=6200).
Fashion has gone cyber and it's there to stay.
