New In: Zara - Cadillac blues and crystal candy flats

I was seriously impressed on a visit to Zara today. They have some gorgeous new spring/summer pieces that tap into SS12 trends and are easily incorporated in to a working and weekend wardobe...

Inspiration: Zara 'People'

Zara - People - Gala from ... -

Proof that Zara really is the best for 'designer look' fashion on the high street. L'Anglaise adores Gala's navy, gold and brown ensemble in the top image. Gold sequins are ideal for Autumn Winter because they go with just about everything, particularly sludgy autumn colours like navy, brown, maroon, racing green, mushroom and black.

Zara - People - Teresa from ... -

Slightly more daring is the ostrich feather mushroom shrug in image number two. Paired with a loose white blouse and jeans, this looks relaxed and bohemian. The brown vintage bag adds the final touch to this laid back look and a hat adds a seventies feel.

Zara - People - Clochet from Bilbao -

This season, shirts should only be worn with the top button done up. No we're not at school anymore, but this is the way fashion's most chic are wearing their blouses - and it works, particularly if the blouse has an interesting detail on the collar, as this one does. Lucy Williams (Stylus.com) also wore this Western-inspired blouse at London Fashion Week. The black zip jacket is absolutely covetable, with its versatility (it can be cropped or normal length) and stylish black colour. The gold zips add an element of luxe as does the textured woven fabric.

Most items featured are available at Zara.

Beat the rain...!

I am in love with this Zara leather shopping tote, £79.99 and available to buy here. I tried it out in store the other day and it is like a huge bucket to throw things in. A colleague at work also owns this in black and the shiny black leather looks so smart. It comes with a short handle and a longer one to put over your shoulder to make it versatile.

Jewel tan perfection!

How cute/pretty/perfect are these shoes? I love them, they're practical but I love all the different elements to them! Jewels, tan, pink ballet bows to the side. They tick every shoe box for me...and they're flat! Perfect! If there was only one shop I could go to for the rest of my life it'd be Zara they do it every time for extremely affordable prices. Buy these here for £49.99!

Navy blazer the great Spring staple item

Navy blazers are great for the transition between Winter and Spring as they are an easy way of defining a silhouette while not looking too austere, as is the case with black.

Zara are a great go-to for blazers of all natures and colours. I particularly like the Twill blazer above £39.99, you can buy it here.

I like how Laura Fantacci fashion editor at Red magazine wears her blazer. You can read her blog Wearing it Today here.

Zara A/W 2010.

Just been having a look at the new Zara collection for Autumn/Winter 2010. Camel is present in abundance and they have drawn on a lot of Céline and Chloé pieces. Expect lots of chunky knits as well.

I like the look of this simple, minimal black shift also, it'd be very versatile for Winter.

The blazers featured in the look book are nice as well, very neat and in great sludgy, autumnal colours (a bit more colour overall would have been nice to see, however).
