Topshop Chicago opens

With the 30,000 sqm Topshop store opening in Chicago tomorrow at 10am, 3 years after it first opened in New York, I thought it was the perfect time to celebrate the very best of Topshop through a series of defining moments. 

1. Kate Moss's business venture with Sir Philip Green, an idea that transformed into a fashion empire.

2. Topshop opens in New York in the Autumn of 2008; taking edgy, British fashion across the pond.

3. Former CEO of Topshop Jane Shepherdson's legacy that is Topshop restyled.

4. THAT dress. Enough said.

5. Topshop Unique's show in Waterloo station during London Fashion Week SS 2011, in September 2010. I was lucky enough to be there working behind the scenes!

Moss marries!

Kate Moss marries in Galliano, the bridesmaids wear Stella McCartney who also designed Kate's reception, after party and couple's departure outfits. Hince and Mosshart wear YSL.

Later they will party in Moss's Cotswolds mansion and grounds where a Glasto style tent has been set up.

I love Kate Moss. I also love the fluo colours of this editorial, whenever it comes to summer I like to indulge in soft neon colours and often bold floral prints, which look amazing with a strong tan like Kate has here. Pastel fluos look really good offset with white or navy blue and tan footwear - wedges being ideal.

'Cocaine Kate' storms down the catwalk at Louis Vuitton, fag in hand. Is this really a look she wants to portray? The cigarette only serves to reinforce her haggard appearance, in my opinion. Though usually an undeniable trendsetter and my all-time style point of reference, she hardly looks fresh and glowing here...
