ISABEL MARANT...

is THE upcoming designer of the season in my opinion. I never used to get it the whole time I was living in Paris but I now see there is something about her collections that make them irrestible in a kind of can't-get-it-quick enough way. Her Spring Summer 2010 collection was awash with the global traveller look that has dominated summer editorials globally.

This jumper is a new Marant obsession of mine. I love how Net-a-Porter have so effortlessly styled it up in a recent editorial And God Created Woman. The whole shoot exudes Bardot-esque nonchalant Parisian chic, that us Brits seem to always strive after and never really achieve...unless we have a piece of Isabel that is.
